I’m Beth, the face behind The Mum Physio. Pelvic Health has been my North Star since my Physiotherapy days at the University of Liverpool back in 2013. After six years in the NHS and two years in private practice, I realised there’s more I can do for women. I founded The Mum Physio to provide women with the time and care they truly deserve.

I’m on a mission to empower and educate women, catering to all ages and focusing on women’s health-related conditions. Whether you’re expecting, navigating postpartum challenges, or beyond, I’m here to guide you with expert assessment, treatment, and advice. I’m not just a physio; I’m your partner on the journey to regaining control and confidence.

I’m passionate about breaking the silence on pelvic health, even giving talks at local groups. Outside the clinic, you’ll find me walking my dog, savouring family time, and indulging my love for books, pilates, and delicious food.

Beth is amazing. I went to see her a year post partum for a mummy MOT and she put me so at ease. She is really easy to talk to, professional but friendly and explains everything really clearly. I wish I had gone to her sooner. It’s a thorough check but she made me feel so safe and supported. It is exactly what every mum she have after having a baby whether they have concerns or not. It’s such a shame that we don’t get this as the standard dr sign off. Definitely book in and go. Thank you Beth x

Have been going to Beth for several years now for many things, originally for issues with my back/shoulder and regular massage (which Beth is fantastic at) and then within the last 12 months for pregnancy assessment, massage and now a mummy MOT. Beth is incredibly knowledgeable about all things women’s health and passionate about her work. She puts you right at ease and makes you feel comfortable right away. I look forward to my appointments with Beth and know I am in good hands to get my pelvic floor and core back to where they need to be post birth! Highly recommend Beth for all your physio needs.

Can't even find the words to describe how amazing Beth has been throughout my pregnancy and post c-section. I went to see Beth initially during pregnancy due to having lower back pain. She made me feel at home instantly, assessed the problem professionally and gave me exercises to reduce the pain. I also had a pregnancy massage which was wonderful! Post birth I had a mummy MOT which was fantastic. We went over all the areas of assessment and found I had 5cm Diastasis (which is now fully healed thanks to the ongoing support from Beth). We're currently working on scar recovery post c-section which has been fantastic so far. I will be shocked if anyone who sees Beth leaves feeling uncomfortable or like their concerns are not resolved. Cannot recommend her services enough!! Thank you so much Beth!!!!

I started seeing Beth towards the end of last year and have just finished my sessions with her. Beth was absolutely amazing all the way through, so professional, so friendly and has completely changed my life. I had put off going for months, I was so busy with balancing full time work and mum life, that my pelvic floor health was last on my list of things to do. Beth made it so easy to fit these exercises into my daily/weekly routine and now I even get my kids join in with me whilst I do them. I rarely write reviews but it’s my absolute pleasure to write this one. Beth Sutcliffe - The.MumPhysio has positively & profoundly impacted my physical health & wellbeing. I was struggling to walk comfortably & could no longer run due to pelvic floor pain. The possibility of surgery had been mentioned by the GP & then I found Beth on Instagram, 4 months ago. Now, I can walk & run pain free with a stable, healthy pelvic floor. Due to Beth’s passion & commitment to improve women’s pelvic health, we also talked gut health. I cannot believe that I haven’t experienced a single bout of IBS (which I’ve suffered with for the last 30+ years) since following her recommendations. Beth, you have changed my life for the better. I cannot recommend Beth enough. I booked in for an initial consultation with Beth when I was 5 months postpartum after seeing a few people go online and thought it would be beneficial to have a Mummy MOT. I had no idea what to expect but as soon as I entered the door, I felt at ease and Beth was so welcoming and friendly. She guided me through each step so attentively and I learnt so much about my body. My pelvic floor muscle was not engaging and I found it really difficult to connect to my pelvic floor. I booked in for rehab sessions as I wanted to return to high-impact exercises safely and prevent any pelvic floor dysfunction/prolapse. Beth was so friendly, approachable and professional during each session. I completed my rehab sessions with the ability to safely return to high-impact exercises and confidently connect to my pelvic floor. I enjoyed going to the sessions so much as Beth is so lovely and such a down to earth person. It was a bitter-sweet feeling to be discharged but I cannot wait to return (hopefully) in the future. Thank you so much for everything – you are amazing!
